Brand

“Why don’t you like tattoos?”
“I like the skin how it is. Yours is incredibly beautiful and so, so soft.”
“It also has tattoos.”
“Yes, it does. For you, I make the exception and like tattoos. But only the ones you have. You don’t need any more, do you?”
“What if I told you that I would like to get a tattoo of us? Coordinates of our wedding, for example?”
“I would think that is incredibly romantic but unnecessary if you are doing it for me.”
“It would be for us. To mark us. To mark our love, where everyone can see.”
“Everyone?”
“Alright not everyone. But you get the idea.”
“I do get it. But really you don’t have to. Plus, I’ve already done it.”
“Excuse me?”
“Don’t you know by now, my love, that the mark that you’re talking about is already branded on  my heart? Right here. That’s the only mark I have and need. One that we ink in every day, with every kiss, every smile, every touch, every word and every other little thing that makes us.”
“Now who is the incredibly romantic one?”
“I am only romantic with you, my darling.”
“You know that only makes me want to get it more, right?”
“Yes, yes. I know. Can I at least choose where, if you’re going to go through with it?”
“Well… I already had a place in mind…”
“Let me guess. Right here.”
“Just about.”
